Hour boosting

Concurrency

How many accounts boost at once, and why the rest wait.

Boosting holds a real Steam login for as long as it runs, so the number of accounts playing at once is capped. Everything above the cap waits in a queue and starts on its own as slots free up.

The two caps

Your account limit is the ceiling across every plan you own. Set it under Steam Sessions → Hour boosting, up to the maximum your subscription allows.

The account-wide boost limit
Your own limit, and the ceiling your subscription allows above it.

A plan's own limit is the Accounts at once field in the plan's Limits step. It only ever makes that plan gentler. It cannot lift the account-wide ceiling, so a plan set to 50 on an account limited to 20 still runs 20.

Queueing is normal

Start a thousand accounts on a hundred slots and nothing breaks: a hundred boost, nine hundred sit in Waiting, and each one starts the moment a slot opens. There is no need to stagger plan starts by hand or to attach accounts in batches.

The live console reports capacity in use against the ceiling, so you can see how full you are rather than discovering it.

Start one account every, on each plan, spaces out the logins as slots are filled. It does not change how many run at once, only how abruptly they arrive.
