1. The agreement
These terms are the agreement between you and Emrys Software, a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) registered in the Netherlands, trading as SteamLabs. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
2. The service
SteamLabs is a hosted automation platform for Steam accounts that you own or control. You add accounts and proxies; our backend signs the accounts in through your proxies and carries out the work you configure: managing inventories and storage, editing profiles, sending trades, listing items on Steam and third-party marketplaces, trade-ups, boosting playtime, and running scheduled automations.
The service executes only what you set up. Nothing runs on your accounts that you did not start or schedule.
3. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and able to enter a binding contract. You agree to provide accurate details, keep your login credentials to yourself, and accept responsibility for what happens under your account.
We do not offer the service in every country. Countries we do not do business with are excluded from the billing flow, and we may refuse or end service there.
4. Your Steam accounts, at your own risk
Every Steam account you add must be yours to operate.
Automating Steam accounts can violate Valve's Steam Subscriber Agreement and the rules of third-party marketplaces. Possible consequences include, without limitation: trade or community restrictions, VAC or game bans, locked or terminated Steam accounts, and loss of items, progress or Steam wallet funds. You accept these risks entirely.
Neither SteamLabs nor Emrys Software is responsible for measures Valve, a marketplace or any other platform takes against accounts you connect. SteamLabs is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Valve Corporation.
5. Proxies and marketplace accounts
Steam sign-ins always go through a proxy you supply. You are responsible for having the right to use your proxies and for the traffic that passes through them. The same goes for the marketplace accounts and API keys you connect: your relationship with those marketplaces is governed by their terms, not ours.
6. Your balance, prices and payment
SteamLabs runs on a prepaid account balance. You top up by card or other methods via Stripe, or in cryptocurrency via CoinGate; your balance goes up once the payment provider confirms the payment. VAT is charged at the moment of top-up based on your billing country, and a validated EU business VAT number reverse-charges it as EU law directs. Every completed top-up produces an invoice you can download from the dashboard.
Your balance is a prepayment for SteamLabs services only: it is not electronic money, earns no interest, and cannot be transferred to other users or paid out except as described under Refunds. It is separate from any Steam wallet funds on the accounts you connect, which are Valve's to hold and never ours. Prices for services may change; the price shown when you start something is the price that applies to it.
7. Refunds and chargebacks
If you are a consumer in the EU, you have the statutory right to withdraw from a top-up within 14 days. Spending your balance is performance you request during that window, so withdrawal covers the part you have not spent: contact us at [email protected] within 14 days of the top-up and we refund what you have not spent. Outside that window, contact us and we will look at it case by case; we are not obliged to refund what you have already spent.
If a payment is refunded or reversed, the matching amount is removed from your balance, which can push the balance below zero if it had already been spent. Starting a chargeback instead of contacting us first counts as abuse and can lead to suspension.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service for anything unlawful, or against Steam accounts, proxies or marketplace accounts you have no right to operate;
- probe, overload or disrupt the service, or work around limits, pricing or access controls;
- resell or provide the service to third parties without our written permission;
- reverse engineer or copy the platform;
- enter deliberately false billing details;
- harass others or post unlawful content in the community chat.
9. Availability
We aim to keep the service running well, but we promise no particular availability. SteamLabs depends on Steam, on third-party marketplaces and on the proxies you supply, all of which can change, rate-limit or fail without notice, and any of which can break features overnight. We may change, suspend or retire features, and perform maintenance, at any time.
10. Liability
To the extent Dutch law allows it, our total liability to you for any claim connected to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event that caused the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or the loss of Steam accounts, items, wallet funds or other virtual goods.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under Dutch law, such as damage caused by our intent or deliberate recklessness.
11. Ending the agreement
You can stop using SteamLabs at any time and delete your account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you break these terms, with notice where that is reasonable and immediately where it is not.
When your account ends, your data is handled as the Privacy Policy describes: most of it is deleted, and invoices are kept for the statutory 7-year retention period. If you have an unspent balance, contact us before deleting your account so it can be settled.
12. Intellectual property
The SteamLabs platform, its software and its content belong to Emrys Software. Your account gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while you have one, and nothing more. The data you bring (your accounts, items and content) stays yours.
13. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and meaningful changes are announced in the dashboard before they take effect. Using the service after a change takes effect means you accept the changed terms; if you do not, stop using the service and delete your account.
14. Governing law
Dutch law governs these terms, and disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory rules of the country where you live, or of your right to bring a claim in your own courts where EU law grants it.
15. Company details
